Welcome! My vision for this blog is to publish clear and succinct guides covering all aspects of reed making. I’ll be adding a lot of visuals, because so much of reed making is hard to conceptualize. I’ll add problem solving flowcharts and try to give the “easy” answer to tough reed making questions (although any experienced reed maker will know that there very rarely are magical answers to any question!), trying to provide materials that I wished I had had access to as a beginning reed maker.

However, I want these guides to help you and answer the questions on your mind! Whether you’ve never even taken apart a dead reed before or you’ve been playing on your own reeds for years, I want to collaborate with you.
